Over 100 girls in this school have now access to solar powered classroom. The school is established in the outskirt of Muzaffarabad city which was never connected to the national grid since its construction. With installation of 600W solar system, girls of this school for the first time used fans and lights in their classrooms!
Bordering Afghanistan, the Khyber District is one of the most deprived area, having severe electricity problem, poverty and absence of other basic social services. With generous donations of friends, our campaign installed solar panels of 600 Watt, DC based fans and energy saving lights to benefit over 250 girls. In a area where electricity from national grid is just 4 hours out of 24, this school has no more the electricity issue!
Solar For Her campaign established its 3rd solar powered school in Kasur for 57 girls. With generous equipment donation from Reon Energy Pvt. Ltd. as well as donation from Samber Energy and other volunteers, poor girls and boys of a Christian community of Kasur have now access to solar powered classrooms where they can continue education under running fans and lights.
Our 4th Solar Powered School is in village Khairabad, Tehsil Balakot, Mansehra district. 117 girls of this school can now access solar powered classrooms! Solar for Her campaign collaborated with a local development organization Friends Welfare Association to make this school solar powered!
Solar For Her reaches Balochistan by establishing its 5th Solar Powered School for girls! Over 30 girls of this school will now study in this school by having uninterrupted electricity, sufficient to run fans and lights in the school! #SolarForHer proudly announces establishment of solar powered lab in Uswa Public School Ganish, Hunza! With thanks to #Reon - the major donor of this project, Samber Energy Lahore and our individual donors, the solar powered lab will facilitate 35 girls every day to use computers for education.
180 girls from Nursery to Grade 5 study in this public school. Girls from poor family background were confronted with limited education facility and prolonged power breakdown during school hours. With 750 watt on-grid solar system, now the girls are able to continue their education with running fans and lights.
With temperature mostly over 30°C and reaching 40°C during summer, this school is located in the desert of Sindh province. A small off-grid dc system will give relief to 52 girls of this school continue their education amidst extremely hot weather condition. This project will empower girls of drought affected area to fight climate change by having access to solar powered classroom and get educated with dignity.
GIZ – Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Project REEE, with the endorsement of Alternate Energy Development Board in Pakistan, has donated a 7kW on-grid solar system to Islamabad Model College for Girls in Tarlai, Islamabad. 2151 girls of this college will be able to study in the college without any interruption to power supply. The system will also have the facility of Net-Metering!
Solar For Her shifted a Government Girls Primary School in Charsadda on solar energy. This new solar powered school will enable 80 girls continue their education in an area where temperature during summer often crosses 40°C.
With generous donations from individual colleagues in Gridworks, US, Solar For Her shifted Al Mahad Public School for Girls in Yugo, GB on solar power. The school has 126 girls who're now able to study in classrooms with lights powered by solar energy!
In the desert of Chachro, Sindh province, where temperature during summer crosses 45°C, 36 rural girls are now able to continue their education after Solar For Her partnered with a local organization Tabnaak and equipped girls school with a small DC solar system.
In partnership with MCR, a local organization in Balochistan, Solar For HER installed a dc solar system to help 60 girls from Khuzdar continue their education with dignity and pride. During summer when temperature crosses 40°C, the system will run 4 fans and 4 bulbs and girls will enjoy studies without any interuption of power supply.

Solar For Her, in partnership with a local NGO Tabnak, facilitated 35 girls by installing a small dc system in the desert of Tharparkar, Sindh. In a temperature of over 45 °C, the school had no electricity and the structure was just a mud-hut. Now the girls are able to study in a newly built school, constructed by Tabnak, and solar powered under Solar For Her initiative.

The school will help 34 girls of Kurumbar valley, Ishkoman, NA. The beautiful photos of the schools reflect moments of joys with the school girls, boys and community.
The 2022 floods not only impacted people lives but also schools. Although the solar equipment remains safe in our solar powered school in Pishin, but the school building got damaged with the floods. With temporary installation, the project will help 70 school girls continue education with solar powered fans and lights amid 40°C temperature.
In the deserts of Tharparkar, Sindh, where temperatures often range between 48-50°C, students were attending schools with minimal access to electricity. This challenge was even more daunting for girls, who were already fewer in number compared to boys. They endured studying in unbearably hot classrooms, often without any power.
In its mission to support girls' education, especially in remote areas, Solar for Her successfully implemented solar energy systems at the Foundation Assisted School in Bheel Mohala, Sindh, marking our 18th school. The project was executed smoothly, thanks to the dedication and hard work of our volunteers, and we are proud to announce that the school now operates with consistent access to electricity, providing a much-improved learning environment for the students. With classrooms now cooled by fans and basic lighting available, those 73 girls can focus on their education without the overwhelming heat hindering their progress.
