Asif Iqbal is a dynamic development professional from Pakistan, hailing from the mountainous Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, whose work bridges climate advocacy and grassroots engagement. As one of the founding members of Solar For Her, he champions inclusive clean energy solutions, while his role as a Climate Reality Leader in Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project highlights his commitment to global climate action. An authorized presenter of Al Gore’s Academy Award–winning An Inconvenient Truth slideshow, Asif brings powerful storytelling to the forefront of environmental awareness. His engagement as a member of the Global Muslim Climate Network (GMCN) further underscores his dedication to mobilizing diverse communities toward sustainable futures, making him a compelling voice in the intersection of development and climate leadership.

Rehana Aziz

 Rehana Aziz is our Global Fundraising Lead in Solar For Her, hailing from the breathtaking landscapes of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, and a passionate advocate for sustainable energy and inclusive opportunities. With deep expertise in Energy Systems Management and her current role as a Product Manager at Tigo Energy in San Francisco, Rehana stands at the forefront of solar PV innovation, driving smarter, more efficient renewable energy solutions. Beyond technology, she is equally committed to empowering girls and young women, championing access to education, leadership, and opportunities, proving that clean energy and empowered communities can rise together. 

Qandeel Rehman

Qandeel Rehman holds a PhD in Renewable Energy Engineering, with a focus on third-generation solar panel manufacturing, and has 10 years of experience in renewable energy, climate philanthropy, and gender equity. She also trains women and rural communities in solar skills through the initiative “She in Energy,” co-founded together with Rehana Azizl. She is a recipient of the Gender Climate Award 2024 and has received recognition as a UN Climate Hero, Acumen Academy Fellow, and Commonwealth Professional Fellow.
