Identify a School

There're many schools, particularly in remote rural areas of Pakistan, which are without electricity. Students, especially girls bear the brunt of climate crisis, making the villages and towns hotter by crossing the mercury by over 40 °C. Without proper electricity systems, girls (and boys) suffer the most and unable to continue their studies because of no running fans or bulbs in the school. Similarly, in extremely cold places, where temperature falls below 0 °C, children have difficulties in reading due to non-availability of proper lighting system in closed dark rooms. 

Solar For Her supports such schools, mainly of Primary Level, by providing them a Solar PV system. If you know any school, public or private and of primary level, which is without electricity and where more than 50% students are girls, you can share its complete information with us by clicking on the "Submit details" button.  

 As a "volunteer" in Solar For Her, we except a person to be passionate and contribute to the cause of our campaign by undertaking particular action(s) which the love the most. You can join us as a "volunteer" if you have any or combination of skills in the following areas;

3. Making/delivering interactive presentations

4. Videography & Photography

5. Arranging meaningful meetings or events 

6. Creative writing / updates / press releases 

7. Vlogging 

8. Installation of Solar PV system

9. Conducting training on care and maintenance of Solar PV system
